Dr. Andrea Heckler treats children and adults of all ages, and uses advanced technology in orthodontics to provide your care. Providing customized and effective treatment that is as pain-free as possible is Dr. Heckler’s goal. She focuses on treating your individual needs, and is continually learning to improve your care.
We recommend the first orthodontic assessment around age 7. At that age, your child’s first adult molars have come in, and most children lose their eight primary (baby) front teeth between the ages of 6 and 8. We looks for jaw development problems and tooth eruption delays, and early treatment at that stage can prevent more challenging problems in the future.
Orthodontics is not just metal “train tracks” anymore. For our teens looking for brightly coloured braces and elastics – we offer that – using SPEED braces, which are smallest self ligating braces available.
For our teens and adults of all ages looking to straighten their teeth and correct their bite without anyone knowing, we offer INVISALIGN, inside LINGUAL braces, and CLEAR ceramic braces. You can have the healthy and beautiful smile you always wanted – with discrete treatment options!
We offer the ACCELEDENT to any of our patients who want to complete their treatment in a shorter time period. We also love to treat our adult patients who need limited orthodontic treatment to prepare their teeth and bite for dental implants or new fillings and crowns – we can work together to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for you.
